Therapy for people who are done surviving and ready to feel truly alive.
My approach
In the almost 20 years I’ve been doing therapy, I have had the opportunity to learn a variety of ways to help.
My approach is integrative and intuitive.
I blend:
S.A.F.E. EMDR to reprocess trauma in a way that lasts
Somatic parts work to help you reconnect with the body and the many parts of you that formed to survive
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help you make room for painful emotions while choosing actions that align with your values — even in the presence of fear, doubt, or grief
Narrative therapy to help you rewrite the stories that trauma, culture, or conditioning have handed you — and reclaim your own voice and truth
Nervous system regulation to restore a sense of safety, balance, and aliveness
A societal and historical lens to honor how systems shape our pain
01
Reach out to me so we can schedule a 15 min phone call to see if we might be a good fit.
02
If that feels good, we meet to learn more about you and collaborate on a plan to meet your personal goals for therapy.
03
Then, with our roadmap of the work in hand, we move forward so you get to where you want to go!
The details:
I schedule weekly sessions with clients and you would generally have the same day/time each week.
I am in-network with several PPO insurance plans including BCBS, Aetna, and United.
I have a mostly telehealth practice so you can do your sessions in whichever confidential location you choose (as long as it’s in Illinois!) I also have an office for in-person sessions in the Ravenswood neighborhood at 4043 N. Ravenswood Ave in Chicago.
